Kassiopi CORFU – lively and relaxing holiday destination
Kassiopi is a charming town on the north-east corner of the island of Corfu, 22 miles north of Corfu Town (Kerkyra)
and Corfu airport. Kassiopi has the magnificent backdrop of Mount Pantokrator and hills covered with olive groves, vines and citrus plantations. It is a colourful place reached by picturesque coast roads. There are views out to sea to the Albanian coast. Kassiopi offers a satisfying array of possibilities from lively bar culture to relaxed bathing and people watching. Despite being an established resort, KASSIOPI still retains something of its fishing village past and its importance in ancient history. Fisherman still work from the harbour alongside flashier modern boats.

Corfu Holiday Choices
The local harbour with its little square is today the focal point of the town’s social life by day and a pretty trendy place by night. Kassiopi has plenty of quieter calmer bars and restaurants, the latter a mix of tourist and traditional, with particularly good fresh fish thanks to local fishermen. Kassiopi is deservedly popular with young visitors, teenagers and groups, but without the excesses of some of the more notorious party spots in GREECE.
Parents of fun-loving teenagers can easily find peace, quiet and beauty within a short walk of Kassiop

Kassiopi overview
Kassiopi has one of the prettiest little harbours in Corfu. It was a thriving settlement in Roman times, then a quiet fishing village but now it's grown into a sizable resort with lots of tourist appeal.
This part of the Corfu coast is more rugged and less built-up than further south, so it appeals to people who want to get an authentic taste of the island. There is plenty of opportunity to explore the area around Kassiopi by going inland into the hills. Kassiopi's horse-shoe shaped harbour is still home to local fisherman who bring in their daily haul which gives the resort plenty of character and colour. There is plenty to do in Kassiopi village for holidaymakers with swimming and water sports by day and good tavernas and lively bars by night
